Heroes of the week: Daniel, pete and stormie
Last night was pretty much the most painful night of my life. I woke up at 2 AM... and I couldn't really breath or couldn't really move. I had chest pains, a stomach ache and my body was all sore. Let me start with all the happening of that day.
I took my American Heritage midterm. Completely bombed it. ouch. The good thing is that everybody bombed it.. so basically the curve will be very generous. The bad thing is that the test took my 3 hours... 3 hours of my life I will never get back -___-
Studied non stop for my Book of Mormon midterm. Can't believe I have two tests in one day. grr
Tutoring the 4th graderes at a near by elementary school. I missed the car pool.. .. thought about walking, but then asked a friend for a ride.
still studying.. yet realized I didn't eat anything all day. Yesterday, all I had was lunch. It has been over a day since I ate anything. I don't have much time.. so I shove a sandwich down my throat. gross.
I walk to the testing center alone to take my Book of Mormon test. It was a beast.. it took my 2.5 hours. But, I got a 96%!! Sweet.
Didn't realize how fast it becomes dark now. I am walking home alone, which is not the smartest thing to do. It is raining really hard now. The raindrops almost hurt. They are so huge and cold.. not like the seattle mist that we always get. The mountain air is freezing. I don't have a jacket or an umbrella. dang.
I am tired. But have a test tomorrow. Must study. And take a shower. I am so soaked! actually, the rain was quite enjoyable. reminded me of home.
This is the first time in a month i slept before 1:30 AM sweet!. Considering the day before yesterday i got 3 hours of sleep.. and the yesterday I got 2 hours- i am wiped out!
I can't move. can't really breath very well. i don't know what is wrong with me.
I am still awake.. i can move a little bit.. but i have this sharp constant pain in my stomach/chest. I finally wake up stormie after an hour of suffering.
I am really in pain now. I can't fall asleep. All I want to do is sleep. We don't know what to do so I call my hometeachers from my church. They come down at 3:40 AM and give me a priesthood blessing. I go up to bed.. and instantly I have no pain and I am able to sleep.
I am seriously humbled by this experience. I always think I can make it on my own. Just when I think I am done with my midterms and all the stress.. I get sick. I was upset.. but I know that i couldn't make it on my own- I needed help from my friends and from the Lord. I woke up saturday morning and outside my door... my ward (church members) had make me a care package with orange juice, Vitaman C, candy, donuts... etc. I love this place. i love byu and how it is so uplifting and everyone treats you like family... i know I am suppose to be here at this school.. i can feel it. I am so gratful for everyone and their love for me. I am so blessed!

<stumbling from studying for so long> So i just studied every waking hour last night for my psych exam- 92% baby! WoOt!.. but alas, the madness doesn't stop there. I have my two hugest tests (American Heritage and Physical Science) tomorrow, back-to-back. ... and on thursday, I have my good ole' Book of Mormon exam. .. . .must stay alive.

OH MY GOODNESS- Preference was amazing! This has been the best date I have ever been on. Sorry jean, but I think this dance definitely beat junior year Tolo. I know.. crazy huh?! AHHH.. I MUST TELL ALL..!! Alright, here I go::
Our group consisted of 26 PEOPLE!!! IT WAS SOOO AWESOME! All the girls/guys were so fun to hang around with. I went with a guy named daniel and I had so much fun with him. He is a pretty good friend of mine- always makes fun of how short/tiny I am, but he is very gentlemanly.Anyway, here is our schedule of events for the evening.
Preference Schedule::
* We kidnapped the boys and made them walk around for a while.
* We rented a Greyhound bus for 4 hours [it was huge! a 50-seater!] and put the boys blindfolded on the bus and drove them to pick up dinner at Cafe Rio. Our driver was so awesome/funny- i LOVE bus drivers!
* We picked up the food and then ate on picnic tables at an elementary school. Cafe Rio= absolutely fabulous! The food was SO good.. i never had mexican that was that good before in my life!
* We then drove on the bus to a huge mall and we played a Mall Scavenger Hunt- some of the things on the list were so awesome!
* Drove to an empty parking lot and we danced to a CD mix we made the night before of slow/fast songs! Daniel was a really good dancer and actually lead (kinda intimidating to dance with someone who knows how). He taught me how to waltz/swing/twostep! WoOt! After we danced for a while, we found shopping carts and had a race. Daniel pushed me SOOO fast I thought we were going to tip over!!! Sweet!
* We then went to Krispy Kreme and ate donuts!
* Next, the bus dropped us off at our last stop. It was a playground/park. We played on the swings, Sardines (it was soooo dark!) and "missionary tag." We also played this "Get to know your date" game where you ask each other a question and if you get it wrong, then they get to put 10 mini marshmallows in your mouth. sigh>> i almost gagged- i was really bad at that game.. but so was he! ^^ I stuffed more than 10 couple of times.. bwhahaha..
* We walked home singing disney songs/christmas songs!
* The boys came into our lobby and we talked/played more group games.
* The guys were soooo sweet and thanked us for a great night and they went home.
All that.. and we got home pretty early. It was only 1:45 AM. Later, Kathryn and i watched some of 13 Going on 30.. so I went to bed at 3 AM. But i just gotta say, that the bus was freakin' AWESOME! Who would have ever thought to rent a charter bus?! Oh man.. and the guys loved it! And because there were a lot of us, it was a great way to keep our huge group together. Anyway, I was so tired today and slept in. Man, this has been the best weekend. Too bad midterms are next week. Oh well! I had enough fun to last until midterms are over!
Yeah for doing random activies with awesome people! WoOt!

mood:: EXCITED!
IT IS SNOWING!!! wOot!
I am so excited.. and it is freezing like crazy, but I love it.
So anyway, I asked Daniel to preference yesterday.. BWHAHAHA... i tricked him so bad- i bought chocolate frosting and M&M's that spelled out "EAT ME" on top.. but instead of baking a cake, I took a huge ceramic bowl and I flipped it upside down and frosted that instead. It looked EXACTLY like a cake and it looked SO good.. i wanted to eat it. ^^ And underneath the bowl was a note that said blah blah blah.. howz' about preference blah blah blah.. yah know.. the usual "will you go to the dance" with me.. yah. Anyway, it was good stuff.
Any ideas on group activities? It is too cold for a corn maze. <-- boo.
So tired. I wish I could sleep earlier and better. <-- boo
I also wish I was coming home for thanksgiving <-- boo.
Midterms are coming up again- I have 4 all in the same week <-- boo
oh well.. at least it is a friday. whew!
AND I CAN'T WAIT TILL daylight savings ends!!! <-- WOOT ^_^ 1 more extra hour of sleep!
